The TCW-500R V.4 comes with all types of grills that are paintable. The TSLB and RB grills are magnetically mounted and thanks to their design make a speaker virtually disappear in the ceiling or wall.

Chassis & Brackets

The TCW-500R V.4 comes with TAGA’s  Injection-Molded Polymer Chassis which is very rigid and strong to minimize distortions, vibrations or resonances. Only select models in the Taga Harmony series come with the Easy Install Mounting Brackets that help install the ceiling speakers with ease. Moreover, an additional rubber coating and a honeycomb cabinet structure further stiffens chassis and improves sound performance. The cabinet frames made to hold the speakers come with regular (wide) bezel grills that are paintable.

High-Frequency Driver

The TCW-500R V.4 comes with Taga’s Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome with ferrofluid cooling that can bear high power and deliver accurate, smooth and detailed performance. Moreover, the SILK or MYLAR® DOME tweeter is ferrofluid cooled and damped which enables performance that can be characterized as very accurate, clear, smooth and detailed as well as can handle high power inputs. The TCW-500R V.4 also comes with equal and flat dispersion of sound in and off the axis of the driver. There are a couple of more extra tweeter features which are available only in select models - like the Swivel Tweeter that can be manually rotated to direct the high frequency stream toward selected areas in the room and the Treble Switch that can help in manually increasing or decreasing the treble level by few decibels to compensate for speaker positioning and room anomalies.
