The magnetically-fixed cover grille of the IC 1005 can be removed and refitted without the need for tools. As the grille covers the entire loudspeaker, the IC 1005 can be easily color-coded to match its surroundings by painting the grille. The loudspeaker sports a four-piece clamping mechanism to safely secure the speaker when installed. The Elac IC 1005 can be installed in-wall or in-ceiling structures up to 35 mm thick. A fitting template is included to aid installation.
